This 2-hour guided project, 'Financial Analytics in RStudio: Identify Profit Drivers,' is designed for Supply Chain and/or Operations Analysts seeking to enhance their skills in financial analytics using RStudio.
Throughout the course, participants will gain hands-on experience in importing and analyzing operational and financial raw data. They will learn to perform exploratory analysis to evaluate operational and financial performance, as well as to analyze cost components and calculate the Operating Margin (OM) by period.
Participants will delve into determining the factors driving the OM and calculating OM variance to plan, as well as variance between periods. They will also acquire the skills to plot OM waterfall charts to visualize OM variance and identify corrective actions.
