This four-course series, "Google Cloud Infrastructure for Azure Professionals," is designed for cloud architects and engineers with existing Azure knowledge who want to expand their expertise to include Google Cloud. Throughout the series, learners will compare and contrast the concepts and technologies in Azure with those in Google Cloud, gaining hands-on experience in building and managing Google Cloud resources.
The course covers a range of topics including IAM, networking, compute, scalability, storage, containers, and monitoring. By the end of the series, participants will be able to apply their existing cloud knowledge to get started with using Google Cloud, explain best practices for Google Cloud solutions, interact with various Google Cloud services, and more.

Get Started / More InfoThis course series consists of four modules that cover Google Cloud IAM and Networking, Compute and Scalability, Storage and Containers, and Deployment and Monitoring for Azure Professionals.
In the Google Cloud IAM and Networking module, participants will learn about the differences between Google Cloud’s resource hierarchy and Azure, best practices for Google Cloud’s IAM, and how to navigate through the Google Cloud console and Cloud Shell to perform basic tasks.
The Google Cloud Compute and Scalability module covers creating and configuring Compute Engine instances, comparing Cloud Load Balancing with Azure Load Balancers, and utilizing managed instance groups (MIGs).
The Storage and Containers module focuses on creating and configuring Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, and provisioning a Kubernetes cluster using GKE. Participants will also compare Google Cloud's data lake and database options with Azure and explore the differences between GKE and AKS.
In the Deployment and Monitoring module, participants will learn about use cases for Cloud Source Repositories and Cloud Functions, creating charts, alerts, and uptime checks with Cloud Monitoring, and understanding the differences between Cloud Run and Azure Container Apps.
