This Creative Thinking specialisation offered by Imperial College London is designed to enhance learners' creativity skills by employing diverse brainstorming techniques, systematic creativity tools, and advanced creative thinking strategies. Participants will be introduced to a series of creativity tools, including list, sticky-note, grid, and alphabet brainstorming. The course will guide learners on using the creativity diamond framework to assess creativity and manage thinking effectively.
"Systematic Creative Thinking: Tools for Success" builds on the previous module by introducing systematic creativity tools such as morphological analysis, invention principles, and the SCAMPER creative idea provocation tool. Participants will learn to use the creativity diamond framework and apply these tools for systematic idea generation and problem-solving.
The final module, "Advanced Creative Thinking and AI: Tools for Success," explores advanced approaches to creativity, including biomimicry, analogy, metaphor, and the use of artificial intelligence. Participants will gain skills in biomimicry, analogy and metaphor in creativity, creative thinking styles, and utilizing AI-enabled platforms to generate innovative outputs.
