SARS-CoV-2, the virus responsible for COVID-19, presents significant risks for senior housing communities and their residents and staff. This comprehensive course, developed in partnership with the Baltimore City Health Department, is designed to provide property owners, managers, service coordinators, and other stakeholders in senior housing with the knowledge and resources needed to address the unique challenges brought about by the pandemic.
Through a series of modules, learners will gain insights into developing emergency preparedness plans specific to COVID-19, implementing effective infection prevention strategies, understanding regulations around managing occupancy and community access, and promoting staff and resident well-being during the pandemic.
