The Prepare for the EMT Certification Test course modules cover a wide range of topics including communication skills, pediatric emergencies, multi-casualty incidents, and the assessment and management of various medical conditions.

Preparing for the NREMT Exam

Module 1 provides an introduction to the course and covers the importance of effective communication in emergency medical situations. You'll also learn about pediatric assessment and review prior course materials to prepare for the NREMT exam.

Scenario #1

Module 2 focuses on history taking, airway assessment, medication administration, and the assessment and management of respiratory distress. You'll also engage in a scenario-based assessment to apply your knowledge in a simulated emergency situation.

Scenario #2

Module 3 delves into the management of multi-casualty incidents, emphasizing bleeding control, triage, and the distribution and debriefing process in disaster situations. You'll apply your knowledge to assess and manage simulated scenarios involving multiple casualties.

Scenario #3

Module 4 addresses the assessment and management of altered mental status, brain problems, and violent behavior. You'll learn to perform a neurological evaluation and manage patients with altered mental status, providing a comprehensive approach to patient care in challenging situations.
