Professional IQ: Preventing and Solving Problems at Work

Many find themselves frustrated in their careers by lack of preparation for dealing with predictable dilemmas that regularly arise in the world of work. This module focuses on knowing oneself, recognizing and meeting ethical challenges, and honing analytical decision-making skills.

This module delves into developing soft skills for building constructive professional relationships, adding value at work, and managing difficult situations. Learners will assess their own listening and reactions, identify cognitive bias, and learn the basics of whistleblowing.

Building on the previous modules, this module focuses on enhancing skills in negotiation, conflict resolution, and crafting a desirable working environment. Learners will develop a personal mission and plan with confidence, and learn to deal with difficult people.

The capstone project involves designing a Personal Leadership Credo and a leadership development plan, providing learners with an opportunity to apply the skills acquired throughout the course to real-world scenarios.
