The Strategic Management module prepares you to think strategically in the age of creativity and innovation, gearing you up for the challenges of strategy formulation and implementation in a 21st century business. You will learn to recognize and avoid old, tired ideas about strategy, and adapt fresher, better ideas in the context of advancing technology and globalization.

Strategy Formulation

The Strategy Formulation module covers various business strategy topics concerned with firm positioning in different markets, industries, and locations. You will learn to formulate a business strategy that suits the needs and visions of your organization and extrapolate measures to optimize current business strategies.

Strategy Implementation

The Strategy Implementation module focuses on building a toolbox of techniques to execute today's business strategies successfully. You will learn to create objectives and goals, identify organizational structures, leverage company culture, communicate the strategy effectively, and detect and mitigate risks to implementation.

Strategic Management - Capstone Project

The Capstone Project course revisits the strategy controversy at e-Types and asks you to apply everything you have learned in the Specialization to analyze a new set of strategy cases, ranging in terms of company size, geography, and focus. You will create and defend a holistic business strategy in response to a realistic case study prompt.
