Teaching Reluctant Writers

All educators encounter students who struggle with writing. This course delves into the reasons behind student reluctance to write and equips learners with a diverse range of strategies and practices to help hesitant writers develop confidence and comfort. Through examining classroom relationships, mentoring, scaffolding, conferencing, low-risk writing, and mini-lessons, participants gain tools to increase student participation and writing success.
