The course comprises six modules that focus on re-imagining change, creating change cycles, and leading change with a mindful and mobilizing approach.

Re-imagining change 1: The change problem

This module provides an introduction to the course and sets the stage for understanding the fundamental aspects of re-imagining change. Participants will explore the underlying problems related to change, examine solutions that fail, and identify solutions that work. They will also engage in various learning activities and assessments to solidify their understanding of the concepts.

Re-imagining change 2: Icebergs & death valleys

In this module, participants delve deeper into the concept of re-imagining change, exploring the significance of icebergs and death valleys in the change process. They will learn to reinvent themselves and apply new perspectives to address change effectively. The module offers further resources, opportunities for applied learning, and assessments to reinforce the learning.

Creating a change cycle 1: Maps & orientation

Module 3 focuses on creating a change cycle by understanding maps and orientation. Participants will engage in gap analysis, force field analysis, and route analysis to effectively navigate change. The module also includes a case study to prepare participants for a practical assignment, along with further resources and assessments.

Creating a change cycle 2: Masks & performance

Creating a change cycle 2 explores the concept of masks and performance in the change cycle. Participants will learn to apply practice and performance, control through influence, and address tensions, dilemmas, and paradoxes in the change process. The module offers additional resources and assessments for practical application.

Creating a change cycle 3: Mirrors & reflection

This module focuses on creating a change cycle through mirrors and reflection. Participants will explore reflection and agile learning, changing measures, and learning spaces to facilitate change effectively. The module offers further resources, opportunities for applied learning, and assessments to reinforce the learning.

Leading change: Mindful & mobilising

The final module delves into leading change with a mindful and mobilizing approach. Participants will address the leadership gap, practice gap, and power gap in the context of change. The module concludes with a course wrap-up, further resources, and assessments to consolidate the learning.
