Course Modules

Leading Innovation in Arts and Culture comprises eight modules that critically examine various constraints to innovation and strategies for leading an innovation strategy within the cultural sector. Participants will engage in discussions, reflections, and exercises to develop a comprehensive understanding of fostering innovation in arts and culture organizations.

Context of Innovation

The Context of Innovation module delves into academic theories and constraints that influence the generation and implementation of new ideas, offering insights into the critical factors shaping innovation within the cultural sector. Participants will explore strategies to overcome these constraints and create an environment conducive to innovation.

Individual Level Constraints

The Individual Level Constraints module focuses on perception, intellection, expression constraints, and motivation, providing participants with tools to identify and overcome personal barriers to innovation. Through engaging exercises and discussions, participants will develop strategies to unleash their creative potential.

Group Constraints

The Group Constraints module explores the emotional, cultural, environmental, and process constraints that impact group innovation. Participants will learn to lead effective brainstorms, manage group dynamics, and create a culture of collaboration and creativity within their organizations.

Organizational Constraints
